The Bill Rompf Junior Tennis Foundation is proud and honored to announce the hiring of Spencer Stone as their Executive Director. Spencer is a former McGinnis HS standout and contemporary of several of the BRJTF Board members from the 80’s including Bryan Geiger, Krunch Kloberdanz, Eric Aanes, Mary Norwood Rompf and Brandon Bethea. He was a student of Rompf’s at the Rompf/Summerfield Tennis Academy and top ranked Oklahoma junior player.
Spencer owned and operated the nationally recognized Nichols Hill’s Spencer Stone Clothing Company from 2003 to present and is currently a Realtor for Sotheby’s International in OKC. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in both business and the sport of tennis to the foundation. His main responsibilities will include aiding President, Bryan Geiger, as a second set of “foundation boots” on the ground in OKC with the goal of expanding the foundation’s reach and capability in terms of scholarship players, donations, marketing/exposure, and statewide growth in the OK Tennis Community.
Rompf and Geiger commented that Spencer is “the perfect person to help us grow and move forward in making tennis dreams come true for OK junior tennis players. His knowledge of the tennis and business community in OKC is second to none. We are extremely excited to have him join our team and to help us expand our presence and capability in growing junior tennis in Oklahoma.” Spencer said that, “helping junior tennis players in Oklahoma is a dream come true. I am ready to bring back the glory and success of junior tennis in the 70’s through 80’s in Oklahoma when the Rompf Academy produced some of America’s top players.”
Spencer can be reached at 405-706-1004. Please feel free to give him a call and welcome him on board.
