BILL ROMPF CELEBRATES HIS 75TH BIRTHDAY PARTY ATTENDED BY FAMILY, FRIENDS, AND MANY FORMER OKC JUNIOR STUDENTS AND PAST CHAMPIONS

On May 3rd and 4th, Bill celebrated his 75th birthday party in Lakewood Ranch, Fl surrounded by over 100 attendees including family, friends, BRJTF Board members and former OKC Rompf/Summerfield Tennis Academy students. Complete with Rompf’s favorite Grateful Dead band, Ship of Fools, lots of food and drink, and unending stories and tales of his life and tennis exploits over the last 60 years, fun was had by all.  Go to https://bit.ly/bill75 to see all the fun (You will need a Google account to upload photos, but everyone can easily view and download pictures without signing in). Guests came from throughout the US, Jamaica, and South America and included former coaches and students Lee Wright, Meredith Geiger Walton, Krunch Kloberdanz, Mary and MaryAnn Rompf, Brandon Bethea, Brian Devening, Barry King, Peter Burroughs, Steve Stokdyk, Rob Autry, John Winteringer, Josh Bainton, Nathan Chapman, Tom Rompf, Dick Haitbrink (MVTA Board), Jimmy Bollettieri, Dave Kozlowski, and Larry Denyes. And tennis dignitaries from Bill’s tennis life including Dick Gould (legendary Stanford tennis coach), Jim Loehr (renowned tennis sports psychologist), John Foster (Bill’s Choate HS tennis coach), Pierre Bataglia (GM Sans Souci), and Steve Shulla (Bollettieri lifetime Manager).
