Foundation scholarship recipients Ghillian Harper and Taytum Jones have been named the 2025 USTA/MVTA/Oklahoma Junior Sportsmanship Award winners for 2025 in Girl’s 12’s and Boy’s 16’s respectively. Taytum also won the award in Boy’s 14’s in 2023.
This is an incredible honor for these two players and defines them as true champions both on and off the tennis court. Their selection is based on “dedication and passion for tennis and a lasting impact on their community”.
This achievement is also an extraordinary honor for the Bill Rompf Junior Tennis Foundation, which has now won 4 sectional junior sportsmanship awards in the last 3 years: Taytum Jones 2023 and 2025; JP Huston 2024, and Ghillian Harper 2025.
Taytum and Ghillian will be presented the awards and honored at the Oklahoma District Annual Awards Banquet on January 31 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Edmond.
