John Paul Huston has been selected as the 2024 Boy's 16 and Under Sportsmanship award winner by USTA Oklahoma. He was also nominated for the Boy's 16 Sportsmanship Award for the Missouri Valley Tennis Association. The awards ceremony will be in conjunction with the OK Hall of Fame inductions at the USTA Oklahoma Awards Banquet Luncheon held in Tulsa, OK on February 1st, 2025.
This is the same award that Taytum Jones won last year for Boy's 14's from both USTA Oklahoma and USTA MVTA.
After winning several events in his first year of Boy's 16's and qualifying and playing at Clay and Hard Court Nationals, as well as winning the Excellence Award for the USTA and receiving a free trip to the 2024 US Open, J P has gone well beyond even his own expectations.
