MaryAnn and Mary Rompf resumed their play in the Mother-Daughter national events this August after a two year layoff. They placed third (losing to the championship team in the semi-finals and then winning 3rd/4th playoff) at the Mother/Daughter National Grass Courts Championships held at Longwood Cricket Club in Boston, August 4 to 6. The Rompf’s were ranked #1 in the nation and the Grass court Champions in 2023, as well as 2015 and 2017.
Mary Rompf is a full time teaching pro at the Birch Tennis Club in Keller, Texas. She plays USTA League tennis and MaryAnn works in Nashville and competes regularly in a USTA men’s league.
